Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions East Valley homeowners ask most.

How long does an epoxy floor take to install?
Most residential garages are a one- to two-day job. Day one is diamond grinding, crack repair and the base coat with the flake broadcast; day two we scrape back the flake and apply the polyaspartic topcoat. Larger, metallic or commercial floors can take longer — we’ll give you an exact timeline with your quote.
How soon can I walk on it and park on it?
Because we finish with fast-curing polyaspartic, you can usually walk on your floor within about 24 hours and park vehicles on it in roughly 2–3 days. Full chemical cure continues over the following week. We’ll give you exact times for your specific floor before we leave.
Will it peel or lift from hot tires like cheap garage kits?
No — and that comes down to preparation. Big-box roll-on kits fail because they’re applied over slick, sealed concrete with nothing to grip. We mechanically diamond-grind every slab to the correct profile so the coating bonds permanently, and our polyaspartic topcoats are specifically hot-tire resistant. Our flake system is backed by a lifetime warranty.
Can you coat over cracks, pitting, or an old peeling floor?
Yes. Repairing damaged concrete is part of every job — we fill and grind cracks, pits and spalling flush before any color goes down. If you have an old, failing coating, we grind it off back to sound concrete first. That prep is exactly what makes the new floor last.
Do you only do garages?
Not at all. We coat patios, pool decks, walkways and driveways, polish concrete for showrooms and warehouses, and do commercial floors of all sizes. We also handle pressure washing and tough stain removal. If it’s a concrete floor, we can probably improve it.
